Welcome
A very warm welcome to the London Centre website!
The London Centre is a branch of Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF), which was founded in 1920 by Paramahansa Yogananda in order to disseminate the scientific meditation technique of Kriya Yoga.
If you would like to know more about the timeless teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, a good starting point is his Autobiography of a Yogi. This spiritual classic has been an inspiration for so many people and can be found in our book room, at SRF’s online bookstore, among many others.

Kriya Yoga
Kriya Yoga is the jewel at the heart of Paramahansa Yogananda’s mission and teachings. He often referred to this scientific meditation technique as ‘the highway to the Infinite.’
Kriya meditation is the key to the Vedic science of God-realization, the dedicated practice of which leads the devotee into deep inner stillness, where they may realise their inherent soul divinity and infinite potential.
Paramahansa Yogananda found this timeless path to be the single most effective method of attaining the highest goal of religion, and of life itself: bliss through actual union with the Divine.
